 Biweekly Reflection on Teaching – My First Two Weeks



📅 Duration: November 20, 2024 – December 3, 2024

The first two weeks of my teaching internship have been both exciting and challenging. Stepping into the classroom as a teacher felt different, but it was a wonderful experience. This phase focused on lesson planning, classroom management, and keeping students engaged in learning.

What Went Well

I planned each lesson carefully to make learning interesting and interactive. Using storytelling and questioning techniques helped students participate more, making the lessons lively. One of the most fulfilling parts of this journey has been building a good connection with my students, creating a friendly and comfortable classroom environment.

✅ Successfully delivered structured lessons with clear objectives.
✅ Used engaging teaching methods like storytelling and discussions.
✅ Built a positive rapport with students, making them feel at ease.

Challenges Faced

Like any new experience, there were some challenges along the way. Managing lesson time effectively was tricky—I sometimes found myself rushing or not covering everything as planned. Another challenge was addressing different learning speeds, ensuring that every student understood the lesson. Maintaining classroom discipline without disrupting the flow of learning was also something I had to work on.

Goals for the Next Phase

After reflecting on these challenges, I plan to make a few improvements in the next phase. I will focus on better time management, ensuring lessons run smoothly without feeling rushed. I also aim to use different teaching strategies to support all types of learners. Lastly, I will work on stronger classroom management techniques to maintain discipline while keeping the class engaged.

Looking Ahead

These first two weeks have been a great learning experience. Every challenge has helped me grow, and I am excited to refine my teaching skills further. Teaching is a journey, and I look forward to making my lessons even more effective and enjoyable for my students in the coming weeks! 💕✨
