Biweekly Reflection 3 Phase 2
Reflections on Teaching: Growth, Challenges & New Insights
📅 January 6, 2025 – January 17, 2025
The past two weeks have been a blend of achievements and challenges, shaping my growth as a teacher. With each lesson, I feel more confident in classroom management and lesson delivery, ensuring that my students remain engaged and eager to learn.
Making Lessons More Engaging
To capture students’ interest, I focused on storytelling and real-life examples to make lessons relatable. This approach sparked curiosity and encouraged active participation. Additionally, I experimented with different questioning techniques, which helped students develop critical thinking skills and express their thoughts more clearly.
Balancing Different Learning Paces
One of the biggest challenges I faced was addressing the diverse learning speeds of my students. Some grasped concepts quickly, while others needed extra time and guidance. Finding a balance between both groups was not easy, but I am now exploring differentiated instruction—adapting my teaching methods to meet each student's needs without leaving anyone behind.
The Power of Self-Reflection
A key realization during this phase was the importance of reflecting on my lessons. After each session, I analyze what worked well and what areas need improvement. This practice has been invaluable in helping me refine my teaching strategies and grow as an educator.
Moving Forward with Passion
These weeks have deepened my connection with my students and strengthened my passion for teaching. While challenges remain, I see them as opportunities to learn and improve. I am excited to continue refining my approach, experimenting with new strategies, and making my classroom a space where every student feels supported and inspired to learn. 💫✨
